Last Sunday we marked Remembrance Sunday and celebrated Baptisms in a 3:30 Sunday. With Helen Cottee preaching at the 11am meeting; and Ben Pocock preaching at the 7pm, it was a huge privilege for me to preach at the 9am Kerith meeting. You can listen to the day's preaches again, or for the first time here.
Over the next few days, I'd like to post some of the thoughts and Bible verses that I talked about. I pray that they are an encouragement to you to Tell Your Story.
A person’s personal story can be a very powerful thing -
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
“I bet the story God has written in your life and your home gives voice and breath and arms and legs to the gospel every bit as much as a Church sermon ever did.”

(tomorrow :Telling our story helps us overcome temptation and defeat the devil)

Our lives tell stories, and as Christians, people of faith who follow Jesus, our lives are a series of moments through which God is telling His story
“We are all of us telling the greatest story of all, the story of redemption,
through the person of Jesus Christ”

It’s what makes the life changing message of the cross personal to us.
